GUNDAM OF THE DAY: FULL ARMOR

Today will be viewing a couple of great Full Armor Gundam builds from various gunpla pro-modelers. If you are not familiar what a Full Armor is, it's basically best descried as a bulky unit carrying tons of high-powered weapons with a heavy type of armor. It is an absolute weapon of mass destruction enough to take-on an army of mobile suits and battleships. A lot of Gundams already have their own version on Full Armor however most of it only appeared in model kits. From what I know the best set of Full Armor-like Gundams appeared in the Gundam Sentinel series where we encounter units such as the Ex-S Gundam and the FAZZs. A Full Armored Gundam also appeared in Gundam Unicorn.

Even though I lost the Gunpla detailing competition last Oct 13, I still found myself lucky by winning the raffle draw for the Double Bullet Clear version (FYI: I bought a Double Bullet regular version to get an entry to this raffle). Thanks TRU Magnolia for the kit!

Yep the "clear version" is a Bandai Exclusive kit

I bought this kit during the GBWC 2012 competition held at Robinsons Magnolia. I did not intend to purchase this one but due to the marketing traps they set-up I decided to get one (they gave two Serial Cards for the 3rd Gunpla X Gundam.info Promotion Campaign and a raffle coupon for the Double-bullet clear version).
