GUNDAM OF THE DAY: FULL ARMOR

via gundamfigures

Today will be viewing a couple of great Full Armor Gundam builds from various gunpla pro-modelers. If you are not familiar what a Full Armor is, it's basically best descried as a bulky unit carrying tons of high-powered weapons with a heavy type of armor. It is an absolute weapon of mass destruction enough to take-on an army of mobile suits and battleships. A lot of Gundams already have their own version on Full Armor however most of it only appeared in model kits. From what I know the best set of Full Armor-like Gundams appeared in the Gundam Sentinel series where we encounter units such as the Ex-S Gundam and the FAZZs. A Full Armored Gundam also appeared in Gundam Unicorn.

GUNDAM OF THE DAY: MSZ-006-P2/3C RED SNAKE

Modeled by Ver Ed

This unit was piloted by Yuri Ajissah a newtype pilot under the command of White Unicorn (Amuro Ray). The "Red Snake" was originally intended for Johnny Ridden but that did not push through since he lacked newtype capabilities. This unit was seen in action in the short CG series of Gundam Evolve Episode 9.

GUNDAM OF THE DAY: MS-07 GOUF

Today we shall feature the MS-07 Gouf as the mobile suit for the day. This unit first appeared during the one year war piloted by Ramba Ral and is said to be an upgraded version of the Zaku, thus making it formidable and stronger than the previous models. Several variants of this unit was introduced in the UC era and for me my favorite version would be the Gouf Custom piloted by the veteran pilot Norris Packard from the 08th MS Team series. Unlike most Zaku's most Goufs comes with a blue color scheme with spots of yellow on the lower part of the torso. They use weaponry similar to that of a Zaku however their armaments are usually more bulky, armed and powerful.

Below is a short clip of this deadly unit from the 08th MS Team series. Enjoy!

Up next, we shall feature some incredible custom builds for the Gouf. So stay tuned!

P.S.

GUNDAM FOR THE DAY: KSHATRIYA

Today I chose to feature one my favorite Zeon units the Kshatriya. Aka NZ-666 (Quad-Wing), this powerful unit is piloted by Marida Cruz of the Unicorn Gundam series. Like its predecessor the NZ-000 Queen Mansa, the Kshatriya has four large binders installed on its shoulders. Each stores a pair of mega particle cannons that can be fired as a single shot or as a scattered shot. Four more can be found on its chest.

It also has as support an I-field barrier used for defense and a psychoframe that enhances the unit's capabilities. The other weapons found in this unit is the vulcan gun, beam saber and its favorite weapon the funnels.

To appreciate more of this powerful Zeon unit I'll be posting three good customized builds of it within the day but to start it off let's watch some short clips of this mobile suit.
